BAILEY BENNER

Meet Bailey

Seventeen-year-old Bailey Benner started riding at the age of eight years old. She rode with Keith Alaimo at Landfair Farms in St. Augustine, Florida, until age fifteen. During those years, she learned about the horse industry's aspects, from riding, horse care, horse nutrition, grooming, and horse shows. In 2018 Keith granted Bailey the opportunity to ride and show his "Brighton Paragon." Also known as "Perry" around the barn. Perry was Bailey's first mount to show nationally on. After months of hard work, dedication, and figuring each other out, the pair took on USEF Pony Finals. They took fifteenth overall in the regular large pony division out of nearly 200 competitors. Shortly after, they took on Bailey's first Capital Challenge Horse Show. In 2020 Bailey competed again at the Capital Challenge Horse Show abroad, "I.M. Gold," Also known as "Rosie," owned by The Benner Family Farm and trained by Keith Alaimo, where Bailey and Rosie won reserve champion in the WCHR Children's Hunter Finals. At age fifteen, Bailey began training with top trainer Rodney Bross and followed many championships across the east coast. In 2021 Bailey found her first show jumping mount, "Number One Z," and her love for the jumper ring. The pair went from the .95m to the 1.35m Medium Junior/amateur Jumpers within 2 years. She continues her success as an amateur rider and has found a love for producing young horses with the help of World Cup rider Jenni Mcallister and 2024 Paris olympic coach Steve Mcallister. Bailey takes care of all her horses herself with the help of her family.
